A new addition to the L.A.S Vino range in 2025, Southern Seas Chardonnay is sourced from a cooler southern Margaret River vineyard influenced by both the Indian and Southern Oceans. The site was selected to bring a fresher and more finely detailed expression to the Chardonnay range after several warmer and drier vintages in the region.

The fruit was hand picked, chilled overnight and gently whole-bunch pressed, with only the free-run juice retained. Fermentation and maturation occurred in a combination of barrique and amphora over 11 months, with no malolactic fermentation. The resulting wine captures precision, purity and tension, while still retaining the depth and texture characteristic of Margaret River Chardonnay.
