The 2021 vintage, from a near-perfect growing season, delivers both power and poise. Deep crimson-purple in colour, it opens with aromas of blackberry, mulberry, cassis, and plum, layered with sage, cedar, and baking spice. The palate is rich yet refined, offering concentrated dark fruits wrapped in fine-grained tannins and lifted by bright natural acidity from the higher-altitude Eden Valley fruit. Notes of black olive, tobacco, and earth add savoury complexity, leading to a long, elegant finish.
