Drawn from vineyards located on both the right and left banks of Chablis, the 2023 Petit Chablis is sourced from south and south-east facing slopes planted on the region’s famous Kimmeridgian marls. While often viewed as the entry point into the range, Billaud-Simon approaches this wine with the same precision and attention to detail as its Premier and Grand Cru bottlings. The fruit is gently pressed and vinified entirely in stainless steel before spending 14–16 months on lees, preserving purity, freshness and terroir expression.

The warm and generous 2023 vintage has given this wine greater depth and fruit concentration while maintaining the hallmark freshness of Chablis. Aromas of lemon zest, grapefruit, green apple and white flowers are layered with subtle iodine and wet stone notes.
