Bindi is a small, family-run estate located in the Macedon Ranges, about 50 km northwest of Melbourne. Established by the Dhillon family in 1988, Bindi is guided by a deep respect for site, sustainability, and purity. Just 7 hectares of this 170-hectare property are planted to Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, with vines growing at 500 metres elevation on ancient, quartz-strewn soils.

Under the stewardship of Michael Dhillon, vigneron and one of Australia’s most thoughtful winegrowers, Bindi is renowned for producing wines of finesse and site expression. Organic practices, low yields, and meticulous vineyard work underpin their philosophy, while winemaking is intentionally minimal intervention: wild ferments, gravity flow, no fining, and long ageing on lees in French oak.

From the precise, mineral-laced Quartz Chardonnay to the ethereal, detailed Pinot Noirs from sites like Original Vineyard, Block Five and Darshan, Bindi’s wines are among the most elegant and ageworthy in the country.
