Yeringberg Chardonnay is a distinguished single-vineyard wine from one of the Yarra Valley’s most historic estates, run by the pioneering de Pury family. Grown on hillside blocks planted in the 1970s and early ’80s, the vineyard combines cool-climate vibrancy with old-vine intensity, producing wines of depth and finesse. The 2022 vintage was hand-picked, whole-bunch pressed, and fermented in French oak (30% new), with regular lees stirring and partial malolactic fermentation enhancing texture and complexity. On the nose, expect white peach, citrus blossom, and roasted almond, while the palate delivers layers of lemon curd, stone fruit, flinty minerality, and gentle oak spice.
