Un Air de Rémejeanne is a buoyant and perfumed Côtes du Rhône from Olivier Klein, crafted from 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah grown on sandy limestone soils high in the hills around Sabran, producing fruit with remarkable natural acidity and finesse. Hand-harvested and mostly destemmed, the grapes underwent a five-day cold soak before spontaneous fermentation. Maturation took place in concrete tanks for seven to eight months, and the wine was bottled with minimal intervention—unfined, with only a light filtration. The result is a fresh and vivid red, with pure raspberry and cherry aromatics lifted by lavender, thyme, violet, and a touch of garrigue. The palate is supple and lively, brimming with juicy red fruit, delicate structure, and a whisper of herbal intrigue.
