The NVC Vineyard was planted in 1921 and was traditionally the home of Vat 5, a stalwart in our membership red offerings for many years. More recently it has been released under our Single Vineyard collection of wines, but this 2023 vintage marks its first release under our revered Sacred Sites collection of wines. This great 102-year-old vineyard is an important and indeed sacred site on the Tyrrell Family Estate, and we are pleased to be releasing it under our iconic yellow label. Dense and intense colour. Distinctive NVC nose that is complex with dark red fruits, savoury spice and a hint of oak. A voluminous palate with both rich dark fruit characters coupled with a creamy textural generosity that runs across the palate.
