The 2023 Traviarti Nebbiolo from Beechworth is a finely detailed and aromatic expression of the variety. Fragrant notes of rose petal, red cherry and wild strawberry lead into subtle layers of orange peel, dried herbs and spice.

On the palate, it’s medium-bodied with bright acidity and firm, finely woven tannins; classic Nebbiolo structure, yet with a purity and approachability that makes it immediately engaging. There’s a lovely tension between fruit, savoury edge and freshness, finishing long and precise.

A beautifully balanced wine that drinks well now with air, but will reward cellaring over the medium term.
