'Gros Manseng originates from the foothills of the Pyrenees in southwest France, a region called Jurancon. It has found a comfortable home in our often-rainy terroir providing intensely flavoured wines with wonderful energy.

The fruit was hand-picked and whole-bunch pressed, with the juice settled overnight without the use of clarifying agents. Fermentation occurred spontaneously in large oak and ceramic vessels, followed by a partial malolactic fermentation. The wine was matured on its fermentation lees for ten months, then bottled without fining and with only a coarse filtration.'
