Tapanappa's Foggy Hill Pinot Noir is a benchmark single-site expression from veteran winemaker Brian Croser, capturing the distinctive terroir of the Fleurieu Peninsula’s Parawa subregion. Grown at altitude in a cool, wind-swept site, the 2022 vintage saw a tiny yield from a mild, slow-ripening season, contributing intensity and freshness. The fruit was fully destemmed, wild fermented, and matured in French barriques (one-third new) for ten months on lees before blending and bottling. Perfumed with rose, spice, and mixed berries, it opens to a palate of ripe plum, brooding fruit, and fine-grained tannins. A refined, cellar-worthy Pinot with quiet power and purity.
