Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey’s Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Hommage à Marguerite 2022 is an elegant assemblage of Premier Cru parcels drawn from some of Saint-Aubin’s most esteemed climats, including Perrières, Combes, Créots and Pitangerets. First produced in 2016, the cuvée is a tribute to Pierre-Yves’ grandmother, Marguerite, and reflects the varied aspects and exposures of the village’s vineyards. It offers a compelling expression of Saint-Aubin’s potential, delivering a layered, generous Chardonnay that balances depth and opulence with freshness, precision and poise.

This cuvee has been a blend of Perrières, Combes, Créots and PItangerets since 2016, all pressed and vinified together. The blend effectively covers all the possible exposures of St-Aubin. The bouquet is rather unforthcoming, though there is an attractive weight of white fruit on the palate, with more generosity at the finish.
