June through August became warmer and drier, while September provided good ripening conditions despite recurring rain.

Harvest began on 5 October, with growers frequently stopping between rain events to allow the fruit to dry. Despite the difficult conditions, grapes remained healthy with no significant bunch rot, although the rainfall resulted in some dilution of aromatic concentration. Overall, 2024 is expected to produce balanced, medium-bodied Barbaresco with approachable fruit and relatively early-drinking appeal, rather than particularly powerful or concentrated wines.
