Paralian Wines was founded in 2018 by Skye Salter and Charlie Seppelt, two winemakers whose shared passion for creating exceptional wines led them to establish a boutique label. Their story began at the historic Tintara winery in McLaren Vale, where they met and eventually decided to pursue their vision together. Charlie, from a long line of winemakers in the Seppelt family, brings a deep understanding of South Australia’s terroir, while Skye focuses on producing wines that reflect the unique characteristics of the land. Their dedication has quickly garnered attention in the industry, with Paralian Wines gaining critical acclaim for its distinct, high-quality releases. The 2022 Paralian Marmot Vineyard Grenache, sourced from McLaren Vale’s Blewitt Springs, is a testament to their commitment. The wine showcases aromas of blood orange and dark raspberry, with subtle hints of nutmeg and coriander seed, and a structured finish with fine, granular tannins.
