Ngeringa’s Chardonnay is a biodynamically farmed, estate-grown expression crafted with precision and care, offering a harmonious blend of richness and vibrancy. Sourced from the Summit Vineyard and select Adelaide Hills sites, the fruit benefited from a mild, steady 2024 season that allowed for excellent ripening and flavour development. Grapes were handpicked, whole bunch pressed, and fermented with wild yeast in French oak (30% new), followed by natural malolactic fermentation and nine months’ maturation on lees without battonage. The result is a layered Chardonnay showing yellow peach, lemon zest, floral lift and subtle oak spice, all balanced by fresh natural acidity. Complex yet approachable, it’s drinking beautifully now.
