The 2022 Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon marks the 50th vintage of this revered Margaret River wine, known for its consistency, complexity and finesse. Grown in Wilyabrup, the region experienced a wild growing season resulting in excellent ripeness. Fruit was hand-harvested, hand-sorted, fermented in small open fermenters with hand plunging, and matured in French oak barriques (16% new) for nearly two years. The result is a deeply coloured, aromatically lifted wine showing mulberry, blackberry, cedar, bay leaf and spice, with a dense, structured palate and silky tannins. A true milestone vintage with extraordinary cellaring potential.
