Description
After six years working in dental prosthetics, Marion Perseval felt the pull of the vineyards she had grown up among. A sixth-generation vigneron, she spent her childhood tending vines alongside her parents. As early as the 1980s, her father, Gérard, was already sowing cover crops in the vineyards, convinced of the benefits of biodiversity at a time when chemical herbicides were the norm.
Deeply rooted in family tradition yet very much a new voice, Marion began producing her own wines in 2019. Now certified organic, she follows a minimal-intervention philosophy in the cellar, aiming not to make generic Champagne, but wines of true character and individual expression.
The village of Chamery is uniquely shaped like a natural amphitheater, with surrounding hills that shield the vineyards from violent storms while maximizing sun exposure, allowing the grapes to reach optimal ripeness. This maturity in the Pinot Noir and Meunier translates into intense aromas of wild red berries, pink grapefruit, baked orchard fruits, and fresh brioche. On the palate, vibrant fruit, rich pastry notes, and crisp minerality come together in perfect balance, leading to a long, dry, and satisfying finish.
