Les Fruits ‘Tullah’ Shiraz is a naturally farmed, medium-bodied expression crafted from 100+ year old vines on deep sand in the Adelaide Hills, with fruit also sourced from Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale. Following a “lazy” winemaking philosophy, the grapes are hand harvested and fermented 100% whole bunches to capture pure vineyard character with minimal intervention—no fining, filtration, and just tiny sulphur additions before bottling. The wine shows earthy, mineral-driven aromas with sanguine iron notes, black olive, dark chocolate, and blackberry, while the palate is savoury and fresh, featuring grainy tannins, dual acidity, and briny complexity. This intriguing Shiraz embodies Les Fruits' passion for traditional, natural winemaking inspired by experience with small French producers.
