The 2022 Barco Reale di Carmignano is crafted from 80% Sangiovese and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from vines averaging 15 years of age with a yield of 65 quintals per hectare. Vinified in temperature-controlled steel and refined in steel followed by 4 months in bottle, it presents a deep ruby red colour.

The nose is rich and inviting, showing ripe fruit layered with fine spice. On the palate, it opens softly with generous volume and body, supported by a well-balanced structure and elegant, soft tannins. Flavours of red and dark fruits mingle with subtle spice, leading to a persistent, refined finish.
