'The Clare' is a fresh-faced reimagining of the classic Clare Valley red blend. Led by Cabernet Sauvignon (65%) with Cabernet Franc, Grenache, Malbec, Carignan and Sciacarello in supporting roles, it’s a Loire-inspired take on Bordeaux varieties—bright, aromatic, and joyously drinkable. Grown on red clay over limestone and wild-fermented with 50% whole berries, this blend is aged in Slavonian foudre for 12 months, then rested in steel. The result is vivid and untamed: potpourri, boysenberry, peanuts, sweet plum, and bush spice all swirl in a wine that's light on its feet yet full of personality. An energetic red that wears its Australian roots proudly but speaks with a modern accent.
