The Buisson family, based in Saint-Romain for eight generations, has steadily expanded beyond their home village into neighbouring appellations, including Beaune. Farming is carried out organically and biodynamically, with a philosophy that prizes transparency of terroir and minimal intervention in the cellar. Les Associés—literally “the partners”—is a cuvée sourced from several carefully chosen Beaune parcels, blended to express the commune’s generosity and charm while maintaining the finesse associated with the Buisson style.

The 2022 vintage presents a vivid, ruby-red colour with lifted aromas of cherry, cranberry, rose petal, and subtle earth. On the palate, it is supple and juicy, with ripe red berry fruit supported by fine, silky tannins and a fresh mineral thread. Gentle oak élevage adds a whisper of spice and structure without masking the purity of the fruit. Approachable in its youth, it will gain further complexity over the next five to eight years, rewarding short-term cellaring.
