'The Fruitful Grenache' is a fresh, modern expression of the variety from Clare Valley’s sun-drenched southern hills. Crafted by Jono Koerner, formerly of Koerner Wines, this wine reflects his thoughtful approach and deep local experience. Sourced from 80-year-old vines planted at 350 metres altitude on red clay over limestone, the site offers both ripeness and natural acidity. Picked early for vibrancy, the wine spent nine months in foudre, evolving into a beautifully lifted, textural Grenache. Expect aromas of Campari, blood orange, raspberry, and soft herbs, followed by a palate of cranberry, sour cherry, and a graphite edge, framed by delicate tannins and lively acid. A graceful, pretty red that Pinot lovers will find irresistible.
