The Sergent family’s Champagne legacy began in 1842 when Remy-Nicolas Sergent married Éléonore Bailly, joining two winemaking families. For nearly a century, the Sergents grew grapes before Lucien Sergent settled in Vrigny in 1931 and produced the first wines under the family name. In 2007, Guillaume Sergent took the reins of Champagne Roger Sergent, founded by his father fifty years earlier. This elegant Champagne is fine-boned, vinous, and savoury, with crisp, delicate bubbles. The palate reveals green apple, subtle red berries, nougat, salted cashews, pulpy grapefruit, and a whisper of sea spray—beautifully balanced and lighter than expected.
