Cuvée Misawa Chardonnay is a flagship white from Grace’s elite vineyards in Akeno, where cool climate and volcanic ash soils produce grapes with depth of flavour and structural balance. Harvested when golden in colour, the best parcels were whole-bunch pressed, fermented and matured in predominantly old French oak barrels for 11 months, yielding a refined wine of citrus, orchard fruit and textured palate weight with a mineral streak, showing both the site’s character and the 2019 vintage’s steady ripening conditions.
