Sourced from a cool, elevated Adelaide Hills site with lean clay and sandstone soils, this Sangiovese reflects Gareth’s growing interest in Mediterranean varieties at altitude. Fermented with a significant portion of whole bunches and matured in seasoned French oak, the wine is shaped by gentle extraction and minimal intervention. The 2025 release shows bright red cherry, dried herbs and fine-grained tannins, with natural acidity driving the finish. It’s a lifted, hillside expression of Sangiovese  savoury, structured and quietly complex.
