Frantz Chagnoleau’s Clos Saint Pancras is a single-site Mâcon-Villages Chardonnay made by the talented duo of Chagnoleau and Caroline Gon, both deeply rooted in the Mâconnais. The vineyard lies near Viré on the Montagne de Clessé at 240m altitude, east-facing and windswept, with limestone soils and 30+ year old vines. Certified organic, the fruit is fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged in older foudres for a pure, terroir-driven expression.
