Felton Road’s MacMuir Pinot Noir is a bold, brooding expression of a remarkable Central Otago site. Initially restrained, it unfurls with deeply bound fruit, dark florals and complex aromatics, revealing layer upon layer of power, depth, and savoury intensity. Grown on deep silt soils and higher vine density, MacMuir sits between The Elms and Calvert vineyards in Bannockburn. Certified organic and biodynamic, the grapes were hand-harvested and fermented with 30% whole bunches, then matured for 13 months in 20% new French oak. Unfined, unfiltered, and crafted with a hands-off approach, this wine is formidable, age-worthy, and distinctly Felton Road.
