Elia Palazzesi continues the winemaking traditions of his family estate in Montalcino, working exclusively with Sangiovese Grosso and farming organically to highlight purity and terroir. The family’s vineyards are located on classic Montalcino soils of galestro and clay-limestone, where meticulous vineyard care, hand harvesting, and small-lot vinification shape wines of elegance and longevity. The Brunello is aged traditionally in large Slavonian oak casks, allowing the grape’s character and the region’s minerality to shine without excessive influence of new oak.

The 2015 vintage is widely regarded as one of Montalcino’s finest of the modern era, combining generous ripeness with balance and structure. In the glass, it offers complex aromas of dark cherry, plum, dried fig, and violet, underpinned by savoury notes of leather, tobacco, and spice.
