“From a 1.6 ha holding in both Les and Bas Duresses. Here too there is a vaguely liqueur-like quality to the aromas of dark raspberry, plum, anise and soft earth influences. There is an equally appealing mouthfeel to the vibrant and lightly stony flavors that aren’t quite as dense yet the impressively long finish is compact, powerful and youthfully austere. This should also repay extended keeping but be approachable after 5-ish or so years. This too is excellent.”
