Description
Delamotte, established in 1760 by François Delamotte in Reims, is one of Champagne's oldest houses. In 1927, Marie-Louise de Nonancourt relocated the operations to Le Mesnil-sur-Oger in the Côte des Blancs, entrusting management to her son, Charles de Nonancourt. In 1988, Delamotte joined forces with Champagne Salon under the Laurent-Perrier group, sharing facilities and winemaking expertise.
The Delamotte Brut Champagne NV is a blend of 60% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir, and 5% Pinot Meunier. It undergoes 36 months of maturation on the lees, imparting complexity and finesse. The wine offers aromas of poached apricot, citronella, and beeswax, with a delicate, mineral-driven profile. The palate is fresh and round, delivering a clean, fruity finish with well-balanced length.
