The 'Metricup' Chardonnay is a new single-vineyard release from Cullen, showcasing the elegance and purity of Margaret River Chardonnay through a biodynamic lens. Planted in 1998, the Metricup vineyard sits on the border of Wilyabrup and is certified organic and in conversion to biodynamics, with the estate’s hallmark commitment to sustainability and carbon-neutral practices.

The 2024 vintage presents a pale gold colour and a lifted bouquet of elderflower, quince, white nectarine, pear, citrus rind, and subtle chamomile. On the palate, the wine has a bright and finely etched structure, offering notes of peach, citrus curd, Anjou pear, and crisp apple skin, all underpinned by a delicate saline minerality reminiscent of crushed seashells. Fermented cool and with restrained oak influence, it delivers freshness and finesse while promising graceful development over the next five to ten years.
