Cullen’s Diana Madeline is the flagship Cabernet blend from one of Margaret River’s founding estates, crafted by Vanya Cullen with an unwavering focus on biodynamics and purity of expression. The fruit comes from 52-year-old vines at the Cullen Vineyard in Wilyabrup, where the 2023 vintage was marked by a dry, mild finish that yielded grapes of small berry size and outstanding quality. Hand-harvested across seven picks, the fruit underwent natural fermentation and spent 14 months in French oak (40% new) before blending and bottling. Perfumed and deeply layered, it opens with rose, violets, cherry and black olive, building into a palate of cassis, dark chocolate, cedar and sandalwood with fine, silky tannins. An icon of Australian Cabernet, and by many accounts, one of the finest Diana Madeline yet.
