Crawford River’s Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted by second-generation winemaker Belinda Thomson, continuing her family’s pioneering legacy in far south-west Victoria. Planted in 1975 outside traditional viticultural zones, the vineyard’s cool maritime climate and complex soils offer ideal conditions for elegant, structured wines. The Reserve Cabernet is medium in weight yet deeply expressive, defined by fine, chalky tannins and natural acidity. Aromas of red and black currant, dark chocolate, allspice and alpine herbs lead into a palate of black olive, molasses, truffle and sandalwood, finishing with minerality and persistent grip.
