Ceretto Barolo is crafted from a selection of vines across Barolo, Castiglione Falletto, La Morra, and Serralunga d’Alba, four communes in the Cuneo province southwest of Alba within the Barolo DOCG. The blend seeks to balance the smooth, elegant character of the Tortonian soils in La Morra and Barolo with the austere, structured qualities of the typical Swiss soils on the slopes of Castiglione Falletto and Serralunga d’Alba. The estate manages 4 hectares of ecologically farmed vineyards, allowing the grapes to achieve full ripeness before being hand-harvested.
