Sangiovese 100%

Chianti Classico Riserva Caparsino is Caparsa's most famous wine: the first vintage produced was 1982.

This wine is made from hand-picked Sangiovese grapes and is matured in oak barrels, more or less for a long time depending on the vintage, in this case about 14 months, followed by further maturation in cement vats.

The selection of Caparsa's grapes from vineyards surrounded by woods yielded results of absolute excellence in this particularly hot year.

Caparsa offers its consumers a spontaneous, authentic and fine Chianti Classico wine from Radda in Chianti that is also intended for long conservation.
