Hand-selected Sangiovese wine and a touch of Colorino, mainly from the Doccio a Matteo vineyard.

Vino Doccio a Matteo 2021 is produced from grapes magnificently ripened in Caparsa predominantly in the vineyard of the same name.

The wine is dark red in colour. The aroma is reminiscent of dark fruit and violets. In the mouth, the tannins are fine but dense, with a very long persistence.
A wine of great longevity, on average it can mature over 15 years.

Grapes: 97% Sangiovese, 3% Colorino
Maturation: 10Hl barrels of Stockinger and Mittelberger oak for approx. 14 months
Fermentation: Spontaneous, with indigenous yeasts for approx. 21 days
