This Valpolicella Superiore, from Canoso, is a medium-bodied red that balances elegance with depth. The wine undergoes a short appassimento period of around 20 days, followed by 10 days of maceration on the skins. It is then matured for a minimum of 36 months in French oak barriques—70% seasoned and 30% new—before resting in bottle for at least four months.

In the glass, Terra presents a vivid ruby-red hue with garnet highlights and a bright, lively appearance. Aromas of wild cherry and sour cherry mingle with delicate vanilla and spice from barrel aging. On the palate, the wine is refined and balanced, offering vibrant fruit, refreshing acidity, and a savory undertone that leads into a long, dry finish.

This cuvée is still in the early stages of its evolution and will continue to develop gracefully with time in the cellar. It pairs beautifully with game, red meats, baked fish, or hard cheeses, making it a versatile and sophisticated expression of the Valpolicella hills.
