Crafted from estate-grown fruit across four Premier Cru villages—Chamery, Écueil, Villedommange, and Montbré—this cuvée is a testament to the region's diverse terroir. The blend comprises 45% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay, and 20% Pinot Meunier, with 60% from the 2019 vintage and 40% reserve wines from the three preceding years. Fermentation and aging occur in stainless steel for approximately eight months, followed by nearly three years on lees, enhancing complexity and texture. The wine undergoes partial malolactic fermentation and is finished with a low dosage of 2g/L, resulting in a crisp, precise profile. In the glass, it reveals a pale golden hue with a fine, persistent mousse. Aromas of green apple, white peach, and subtle brioche lead to a palate that balances freshness with depth, culminating in a long, elegant finish. Bertrand-Delespierre, established in 1980 by Didier Bertrand and Chantal Delespierre, is a family-run estate now helmed by their children, Adrien and Clémence. The siblings continue the legacy with a focus on sustainability, practicing organic viticulture and earning Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) certification.
