Description

The Barale family has been shaping Barolo for centuries, first appearing in village records in the early 1600s as owners of portions of renowned vineyards such as Coste di Rose, Cannubi, Castellero and Preda, and later becoming one of the earliest recorded producers of Barolo in 1870. Today, under the stewardship of Sergio Barale and his daughters Eleonora and Gloria, the estate spans just 20 hectares across Barolo, Monforte d’Alba and Neive, where meticulous vineyard selection and traditional farming remain the heart of their identity, because, for Barale, the vineyard is everything.

Fermented and macerated in oak casks for 30 days, the wine gains depth, structure, and early integration of tannin and spice. It is then matured for 30 months in 15–30 hL Allier French oak barrels and further refined with at least 12 months of bottle age, resulting in a wine of exceptional harmony, complexity, and longevity.
