The Droin family has been growing vines and making wine in Chablis for over five centuries, with records dating back to 1547, when Jehan Droin was already cultivating vineyards in the region. Over generations, the family has been deeply involved in all aspects of winemaking, expanding the estate and playing an active role in shaping the region.

Jean-Paul Droin took over the family estate in 1983 and was joined by his son Benoît, to whom he fully handed over the domaine in 2014. Today, the wines; ranging from village to premier and grand cru; are recognised for their precision, generosity and faithful expression of Chablis’ Kimmeridgian terroirs.

Made from ripe fruit, the wines combine energy, clarity and structure, balancing the freshness of stainless steel with the elegance of barrel ageing. Across both cool and warm vintages, they are built for ageing and stand among the most compelling expressions of Chablis available today.
